TAN CHONG MOTOR (MYANMAR) CO., LTD. DELIVERS AND HANDOVERS THE NISSAN SUNNY TO YANGON REGIONAL GOVERNMENT
Yangon, MYANMAR – Tan Chong Motor (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. (“TCMM”), a subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. (Malaysia) and the sole and exclusive distributor of Nissan vehicles in Myanmar, delivers and handovers the much-anticipated locally assembled New Nissan Sunny to the Yangon Regional Government on 14th July 2017.
“We would like thank the General Administration Department of Yangon Regional Government for the trust and support of the locally produced New Nissan Sunny, which is being assembled by the people of Myanmar in TCMM’s plant in Hlaing Thar Yar, Yangon”, said Mr Wong during the handover ceremony.
The handover ceremony which was held at the entrance of Yangon Region’s Parliament, saw Mr Wong Seap Hong (Managing Director of TCMM) and U Aung Myo Hein (Managing Director of Shwe Sagaing Motor) officially handover a series of Nissan Sunny vehicles to U Myo Aung Htay, Director General of General Administration Department, witnessed by other fellow colleagues from the General Administration Department, the members of the media and staff of TCMM.

It is now assembled by the Myanmar people for the Myanmar market, utilising Nissan’s world-class production methods which ensure the strictest level of quality in every part of the assembly process, to allow Myanmar consumers to enjoy quality vehicles that Nissan is renowned for. All the key staff in the TCMM plant has undergone stringent and intense training in Tan Chong’s assembly plant in Malaysia before returning home to share their acumen.
